- joanne morgan Added March 13, 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I have a lot of parcels mailed to me regularly and I have spoken to the post office about the fact that a lot of the time their post people do not even knock at the door and I am left with a card to collect the parcel from the P.O. This does not suit me as I have chronic disabilities. The post office staff have been told several times to knock at the door and do not leave until I answer. I am ALWAYS home and the work I do has me working about 6 feet away from the front door and I always listen carefully for parcels arriving. I have no doubt that the post office deliverer does not knock, does not wait, does not even carry the parcel to my door, and doe however always have the card to slip under the screen door of my house. This is very bad business and if it continues I will not be satisfied by making a verbal or written complaint. There seems to be an attitude at Box Hill Centro Post Office, an attitude of complacency and incompetence. That is obvious from the reviews on this page.
- Puppy Paws Added December 03, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Walked in here with a very delicate item to send off. Not knowing exactly what I would need, I asked the elder assistant if she could help. I told her I had this delicate item to send off and asked what she would suggest as best. She rudely replied 'a box and bubble wrap' and then she huffed as she walked away. Never again will I venture into that post office while that very rude woman works there. I went to another post office and got fantastic treatment and they kindly package the parcel for me. When I mentioned to them about my encounter with the woman at box hill central, they said they were not surprised as they had heard complaints about her many times. I think it is about time this woman was sent back to do a course on how to treat customers....and stop huffing. (Does anyone read the reviews by the way? Perhaps with all the complaints, someone might just let people know they have heard and are listening.)
